How to Get Skinny Thighs
Let’s face it, guys want to get skinny thighs too! Here’s a quick story for you. A short time ago my son had stomach pains. Among other things to help him (besides going to the doctor) we gave him children’s ibuprofen. Immediately upon swallowing it screamed out, “It’s not working!” As you and I both know, he just needed to give it some time. There were times he didn’t even want to take it because “It doesn’t work!” Again, I knew it worked because it helped him sleep through the night.
How often are we like our children when we try out a new diet or exercise to help us and we scream to ourselves, “It’s not working!” Or, because we think the last one we tried didn’t work so we don’t try again. I don’t know about you, but I have a life… family, kids, work, chores and the list goes on.
I am not one who likes going to the gym. The time it takes to get there, waiting for your turn for a machine and all the other things involved with “going to the gym.” I like exercising at home or outdoors playing sports. I was a little reluctant to try the Fat Burning Furnace program thinking it might say what all the other programs say… eat less and go to the gym more. That is not the case. Rob, who wrote the book, describes how we are all different and therefore like different things. That is something I like about his book. There is a section on how to exercise more effectively at the gym, but since I don’t like to go there, there’s also a section about what to do at home in a home gym with limited equipment or, like me, no equipment at all. Here is a concept that I haven’t thought about much before. The same amount of muscle burns more calories than fat does. Adding just one pound of muscle requires an extra 40-50 calories per day to keep it. If you add 20 pounds of lean muscle tissue you’ll burn an additional 800-1000 calories per day without having to do anything! Having muscles is a good thing. It helps your body to be healthier and burn off the fat too.
Rob’s program shows how to use weights or, in my case because I’m working out at home without any, my body-weight for an effective workout plan. The other thing I didn’t think about before (maybe you did) was that as we exercise and strengthen our muscles, they need rest to grow. That is why a truly effective workout routine is an intense but short one followed by rest or cardio exercises on the other days. This is how you can actually lose weight fast, or how to get thin quick in 15-20 minutes 2-3 times a week.
Back to the story of my son. The doctor didn’t know what exactly to do to help him but gave us several options to help with the pain and now he’s feeling great! Rob’s program also gives options and new ideas on how to get skinny fast, but more than that it’s a way to help with the pain of not being able to lose weight without disrupting too much how we live our life now. You may be out of shape right now and it isn’t even your fault! Diet and fitness experts abound and while many of them want you to succeed they will lose you as a customer if you really do succeed. If you stop buying their pills, powders, DVDs, special foods, etc. where are they then?
The first thing to realize is that you don’t need to lose weight. What? Yes, it’s true, you don’t need to lose weight, what you need to lose is fat. Most of those diets out there make you lose water not fat. And the low carb diets, they rob your body of energy. Not to mention how confusing they can be. What to eat and how much. Starving yourself of food, thinking less food is less weight, is also dangerous.

One thing Rob teaches is that winners in life (no matter what area) have certain habits that enable success. Combine that with fat loss techniques, getting in the best shape of your life can be a reality. When you feel good about yourself it helps build confidence in other areas of your life too. My goal is not just how to get thin but to be a better me in all areas of my life!
Go online and you can find lots of information on dieting and getting skinny, but you just want to get skinny or get skinny thighs not workout for hours at a time every day. You don’t have the time. Kids require your attention and so does work. It’s even harder if you work from home. When do you have time to do thigh exercises not to mention every thing else on your ” ’round-to-it” -You know, that list of things that you’ll get to when you have time Valium 15mg to “get around to doing it?” Almost never!
The best news is you don’t have to go to a gym to do workouts and you don’t have to spend lots of time either! It can be done in as little as 2-3 days per week and only 15-20 minutes. I think we can all work that into our schedule! Check back for how I have been able to see a difference.
